There will be people in your life that are not cheering for you.  It may be a family member that does not support you in what you are trying to do or it could be a close friend.  It may even feel like they are against you. These are often people you love and have had in your life for a long time.

You don’t have to leave them behind you just have to learn to limit your time with them.

Give yourself permission to set boundaries.  It will help to save your sanity and give you the time and space to pursue your dreams. You probably have bigger dreams than they do.Not everyone will be in alignment with us.  You need to surround yourself with like-minded people that may be on the same path as you or have traveled down your same road.  They can help you just through a conversation.  You may have a light bulb moment when you are speaking with someone.  Your ‘ah hah’ will be now I get it!  And that will help you, inspire you and encourage you.

There are mentors all around us in our daily lives.  I don’t mind going to an event and listening to the same speaker again.  It’s proven that we only take away about 20% of what we hear so If I can listen to that same speaker, I will come away with something else.  It may be another nugget of information that I missed the first time I heard them.

Keep surrounding yourself with like-minded people who will help you bring up your game.
